It is real!

Many people have no problem in believing that aliens visit earth. Do you believe? There are people who believe in the paranormal and ghosts and hauntings. Do you believe? There are those people who believe God is dead or that he does not exist. Do you believe that? Some people believe that we should pray to angels. Do you believe in praying to them? Some people believe that there are many other religious books that are as important as the Bible. Do you agree with that? Some people believe that when you die you simply cease to exist, or you go to sleep indefinitely. Are you one of those people? Many people believe there is no such thing as hell, and some do not even believe in heaven. Are you in that category? Many people in the population of the earth believe that there are multiple ways to gain eternal life. Could it be that you think that there’s more than one way to go to heaven? There are some people who believe through a séance or other efforts that you can talk to the dead. Do you believe that’s possible? In fact, there are people who believe that they can see people they have known or love appearing to them after their death. Might you think that that could occur?

There are a vast number of people who believe what they wish to believe instead of what is presented by cold hard facts. They choose to believe in the odd, the unusual, even the interesting. So many people have turned their back on Jesus Christ without any effort for repentance or salvation. It is real that sin exists. It is real that none of us can reform ourselves to the point that God would accept us into his heaven. It is real that there are provable truths by science and archaeology and common sense that the Bible is the word of God. It is real that Jesus came to this earth and died on the cross as prophesied hundreds and hundreds of years before he was born. It is real that there is no other way to be acceptable in the presence of God other than Jesus since God cannot stand sin to be in his presence. It is real that only Jesus can solve that problem. It is real that if you accept the influence of the Holy Spirit your life will be dynamically changed. It is real that God wants you with him for all eternity. It is real that the only reason a person does not go to heaven is because they themselves have brought condemnation to their future by rejecting Jesus.

Why is it that so many people will accept the odd or the fanciful. Why is it that a person would rather believe in aliens or ghosts then to believe in Jesus who came to the earth so that all may be saved. It makes no sense to me for all of the things and more that I have said in this first paragraph. It makes all the sense in the world for each and every one of us to receive the call of love from God to accept Jesus Christ as Savior. The challenge is for all of us to have an about-face in our thinking and our spirit so that we might walk toward God and receive his blessings. Will you accept the challenge? Will you believe in him as your Savior?
