There was a time in which Society in general leaned toward Christian thought and biblical principles. The entire idea that Society now holds is in direct opposite. It made a 180° turn by abandoning the influence that the Bible, church, and Christians once displayed. Now Society demands that the principles that it has created be the dominating force on Christians. So, instead of Christians dominating Society, Society is now dominating Christians! In other words, we are told to forget the standards of the past.
Feelings are the dominating force in this new world. Forget facts. Forget science. If it feels good, do it. Furthermore, convictions and ideology are twisted by feelings. For instance, a biology teacher in a college recently explained that sex of the creature is determined by the chromosomes. He had six students walk out of the class. He was censored by the college. This was all because the students ignored science.
Let us continue: the elements held by Modern Society are expected to go over sway in reality. For instance-there is no such thing as transgender! A person may dress as the opposite sex, mutilate their bodies, campaign for what they want. This does not change their chromosomes or DNA. Yet, Society recognizes them for how they feel and how they want to be recognized. Society demands that Christians ignore the facts and the Bible. Unfortunately, many churches and professing believers in Christ have allowed themselves to be caught up in this nonsense.
Christians are being told to ignore the consequences of life. We are told not to be concerned about newly created medication. There is no way to predict the effect that will happen on a person’s own body. For instance, years ago women were told to take a medication called thalidomide that ultimately deformed many babies leaving them without arms or legs. Who knows what will happen to us in the future.
These members of Society have already succeeded in being called a protected class. Even on conservative news broadcasts they have been called a protected class. This is not true because nothing went through Congress to label them in that way. They have been called a protected class by radical groups. Society wants to manipulate what is untrue and expects Christians to ride that train.
Society seeks to punish anyone who disagrees. They expect their own uniformity. They expect everyone to conform. Society has gone to great lengths to accomplish this goal. A young female student at the University of Cincinnati used the words “biological woman” on a paper she presented as an assignment. The female teacher gave her a zero for using that term. Another teacher gave her one hundred, but this did not change the facts of how it played out. At first, the teacher was reprimanded and threatened to have a letter placed permanently in her profile. The college quickly bent under social demands and rescinded all disciplinary actions of the teacher.
Society is pushing to change tradition including historical reality. When someone tears down a statue that has historical significance that is contrary to the nonsense of society, no one is punished, and the statue is not replaced. Not too long ago there were riots in Seattle causing fires and damaging the property of business owners. There was a time this would not have been tolerated.
There is a demand on Christians to allow lies to be imposed on young children in school so much that parents have had to go to court to protect their youngsters. To the Modern Society laws and the Constitution are only valid if they support their cause. They want to change the future and the direction of where our nation is headed to some vague void.
There was much more we could say but we have two choices of how to deal with this. Either we become fearful while submitting to these demands or we could have peace from the Holy Spirit knowing that all of those in Society are merely fulfilled prophecy. The Bible says that such things will occur before Jesus returns in the rapture. Resist the best you can. Avoid being emotionally distraught. Look for the return of Christ at any minute!
