Throughout history the Bible has been used as a foundation of laws and rules of society. It alone has a uniqueness that separates it from any other religious writings. Many authors of the various books of the Bible never saw each other, and had different lives, lived in different times, and lived in different locations. Yet they all maintained one theme. Each support prophecy it has only been fulfilled by the single person of Jesus Christ.
It is wise to read it and honor its instructions as a way of life. It is through the reading of the Bible that the Holy Spirit can move upon the mind and heart of the person. No wonder the Bible is the only book that has been persecuted, burned in heaps, and mocked by unbelievers. No other religious book has been rejected like the Bible even though it teaches truth. How curious it is that this has occurred for hundreds of years! How certain it is that the prudent person should dust the Bible from the shelf and began reading it.
