The Ark of the Covenant

Originally, God ordered it to be created as a symbol of his presence in the Holy of the Holies. It contained the  tablets of the Ten Commandments, a pot of manna that God used to feed the Israelites as they were wandering through the wilderness, and the rod of Aaron that budded. (Hebrews 9)

Over the last several years there have been discussions and movies about the Ark of the Covenant. There have been documentarians on television that tried to verify the location of the ark. I must confess that I get frustrated over this derogatory propaganda of the evil world. They say they know where it is. One example is they say that it’s located in a special place in Ethiopia.

The facts are very simple. If the so-called researchers and explorers would just read the Bible, the answer is very simple. Refer to Revelation 11: 19 that specifically identifies the Ark of the Covenant in heaven. We don’t know exactly when God took the ark to heaven, but we do know it is there. We also know that it is a lesson of futility for those unbelievers who think they can find it here on earth.

The lesson for us is to always measure what people say by the Bible. This lesson requires us to be as familiar with the Bible as possible.
