Killings 0n 9-11

A composite of botched security measures and assumptions without any follow-through paved the way for monstrous, radical, jihadist, Muslims to fly planes into buildings on this eleventh day of September 23 years ago. Unfortunately, the horror of the event is fading from the American conscious. Three thousand people met their maker when these murderers under the guise of religion attacked our country. These supposedly ultraconservative Muslims spent the night before the attack with alcohol and women of ill repute.

They were compelled by fanatical extremism as outlined by their militant version of loyalty to their own god. They succeeded in  upheaving the American society and the government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Just one day’s attack caused new laws to be implemented, a whole new department of transportation security and Homeland security, huge amounts of money allocated toward defense and war. Most certainly these creatures of the night succeeded in their goal.

It was beyond anyone’s thought to predict what would happen that morning. Many sub stories have been told and have yet to be told of what it was like that day. The rambling effects of first responders rippled through their own bodies causing disease and death years afterwards. None of the people entering the elevators to go to their offices were prepared to face the intense heat and devastation from the crashing planes. The passengers and crew of flight ninety-two in Pennsylvania could not conceive permission for their third plane to be used as a guided missile into either the Congress building or the White House. They sacrificed their lives because of their patriotic duties by crashing the plane into the ground.

Those people twenty-three years ago went about their business. Family relationships ranged from happy to hectic. Thoughts of work responsibility and consideration for change in life’s direction dwelt in the thinking of some. Those murdered were of all ages, of various nationalities, who were pushed through the doors of eternity against their permission. Those grotesque, gruesome, grisly things disguised in human form took away joy from our everyday life and so many goals that were planned by innocent people.

For a brief few moments in the succeeding months afterwards the citizens of the United States of America showed their unity and determination. With the atrocious things that have already been mentioned in this blog, we are forced to turn to the Scriptures.  We, individually and as a nation, must find some ground against colossal crimes and criminals. We must stand against evil and repel it whenever and wherever hellish conduct threatens the lives of innocent people.
