Perhaps like me, you have been confused by all the ancient names of Kings and leaders in the Bible. I have developed this chart below to help offset the confusion. You can use this cheat sheet as you read the Old Testament to better understand the chronology. Notice that Israel and Judah are two separate nations after Solomon. Also notice that none of the kings of Israel were righteous and only some of the kings of Judah were righteous. You will see the accompanying kings of Assyria, Babylon, and Persia. Included are the years that kings reigned.
