The Bible clearly says that the return of Christ is eminent. There are more prophecies in the Bible that have already been fulfilled than are yet to happen. For the sake of review, let us consider the coming events. While doing so join with me in exploring the obvious rearrangement of society by unbelievers. Events are happening so rapidly that it may be difficult for us to absorb everything. I offer you in this blog my own speculations as the world prepares for its own confrontation with the Almighty On a much larger scale than 9-11.
According to the Bible, the next thing that happens is called the rapture in which believers are caught up into the sky, given a new immortal body, and live throughout eternity with Christ. How will the world explain the thousands and millions of people that suddenly disappeared at the same time in the rapture?
Afterwards, the antichrist will step onto the world scene claiming to have the solutions to everyone’s problems. In my years of biblical study and theology, I believe that such Bible verses as found in Daniel tell us that the Antichrist will arise from what is currently called Syria. (That is my personal belief-take it for what it’s worth.) He will speak of peace but will in the few short months demonstrate hostility.
Two things will be happening during the time of the Antichrist. Even though the working of the Holy Spirit through the church will be absent, some people still (probably because someone told them about salvation through Christ before the rapture) will turn to God. Many will be martyred. Contrary to these believers, the world and all its unity will demonstrate hostility against God. In response, God will unleash his judgment on those who refuse to accept him even though he has been lovingly patient.
Recently, Putin advertised his own thoughts for a coming new world order. What is mankind facing, what advancements will he propagate, and how will he explain away God’s intervention? Here is a short list of how I think the new society will operate.
We already have credit and debit cards that most of us use. Take into consideration how fragile is our own financial standing if we go to the grocery store and our card is rejected. The American dollar has long been the strength of international marketing. Now coming along is a new thing called crypto currency or bitcoins. Europe united for many years using a currency called the euro. During the tribulation it will be very simple for the antichrist to take over the world’s currency.
And what about medical advancements that can be used against us by the antichrist? Dr. Oz has just been nominated by Pres. Trump to be in charge of Medicare and Medicaid. I personally saw on TV this man rejoicing how a small chip could be inserted into our bodies that contains our complete history, including illnesses, diagnoses, and medication.
Again, I emphasize that some of my thoughts are my own speculations. We probably should discuss how the missing believers that were ruptured could be explained away. Yes, this is where I get a little crazy. However, even our own federal government has joined in the frenzy claiming after all their investigations there are twenty-one UFOs that cannot be discounted as a hoax or normal aviation and earthly events. Does it not make sense that during the first part of the tribulation unbelievers join together with conviction that the rapture was not a biblical event but was a result of aliens kidnapping earthlings? No, don’t laugh at me. Society in general will want to know what happened with her friends, neighbors, and relatives. With all the buildup involving even our own federal government, the stage is set to explain this away as alien abductions.
Assuming you are done laughing at me, take notice that the rapture is about to occur, history’s most evil man named Antichrist will shortly appear. Thereafter, world finances will be under his dominion, and there will be an excuse made for the disappearance of Christians. Can you not see how our world is evolving so quickly with high technology, artificial intelligence, new financial gains, and an international desire for peace eventually under a new world order dominated by a new world leader? If you have not accepted Christ as your Savior by recognizing that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, rose from the grave as a gift of conquering death, and that Christ is Lord of all, please open your heart to God. Begin reading the gospel of John so the Holy Spirit may educate you.
