Let us bear in mind that evolution is still a theory propagated by an ungodly man. He traveled the world seeking ways that he would bring together miscellaneous observations and to some connived order. Just because you have a spine, and a fish has a spine is a ridiculous thought that there is any connection between the two! It is proposed that with unlimited time a “thing” would appear without cause or purpose. No matter what excuses an evolutionist can give for their theory, the fact remains that they claim there was nothing that became something by its own power that eventually became something else that became something else that became something else, etc. Just for me to say this proves that it takes more faith to believe in evolution that it does that God is the Almighty Creator.
Evolution is obviously the counterpoint of Satan to the creation in the Garden of Eden. The Bible plainly says that God made everything. The evil theory of evolution challenges this to say that a thing made its thing to become another thing. Doesn’t this really sound ridiculous? So what benefit is it for Satan to propose this theory of evolution on our school system and worst of all on our children?
The obvious and most primary reason is that it challenges the authority of creation by God. In fact, with evolution God is not necessary at all. Please consider this with me how terrible evolution is. There is no honor, glory, or respect given to God as the Almighty because everything came into existence by its own means. Instead, Satan’s theory of evolution says that whatever happened just happened. Then as years have passed, to disbelieve in evolution makes one a fool or radical. It’s not a matter of my opinion versus the opinion of the evolutionist. This theory is treated as fact. But for theory to become a fact there must be irrefutable evidence.
The benefit of evolution also confuses the Christian’s thinking. It makes him wonder about the power of God. It is another reason not to give praise to God because according to the theory there’s no reason to praise him since there is no God in the first place. We can also challenge those who hold this thinking by asking what was the impetus that caused that thing to crawl out of the water and become another thing? There is always a cause-and-effect in place. But those who hold to evolution discount this while at the same time discounting God’s power.
To believe in such a fantasy also gives cause not to worship God. Why worship God when he has not had the power that he claims in his Word? If God said it in the Bible, then either he is a liar or he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. There is no middle ground here. It is true that both man and beast have had some version of adapting to their environment. That could be the result of local food, temperature, water, or the necessity for self-preservation. But that does not mean that a certain creature over an unlimited amount of time became a brand-new creature!
The charts that are shown to children in school bring comparison of one creature to another with the pretense of evolution. The fact is that if God had a great blueprint, why would he use a different blueprint for the design of living things? How can we trust in God that man was capable of challenging by believing in evolution? How can we trust God that he will make things different and better if he is not given the credit for having done it already? It is equally foolish to say that God used evolution as a means of creation. Why would he use a secondhand means when all I had to do was speak the word and it was done? Please give second thoughts to accepting the theory of evolution. It is a devil inspired distraction. God said it and it happened. Unfortunately, to not accept God’s explanation of creation is a true distraction of the power he can exercise in our personal lives. Do you not want a God that has all power over all things at all times or a God that is unnecessary!
