God does not have to answer to any of us for what he does or what he allows. It is a mature Christian that can survive horrific circumstances over everyday events. Remember that death, sickness, and sorrow are traced back to Satan. In God’s presence a person is either acceptable because of righteousness are rejected because of their own unrighteousness. What can we say, what could we outline that are characteristics of a mature Christian some of which are very challenging to all of us?
- God would be able to trust the person that first trust him
- The totally dedicated person appreciates that he is sustained by God
- This person is a person of integrity.
- As a person matures, he realizes the meaning of pain from which none of us are exempt.
- Our desire to be blessed by God must be with the recognition that we are to be a blessing to other people.
- Regardless of what roadblocks this person experiences, he is driven to serve.
- Think how glorious it will be when we come face-to-face with the majesty of God.
- If we truly repent on a regular basis before God, we are qualified then to intercede for other people.
- When we are a witness to others, it brings a blessing back to us.
The Bible sometimes uses the word perfect in describing a believer. Actually, a better translation of that word is mature. It is wise for us to think and monitor how we are maturing in the Lord. Whenever we find ourselves falling short of God’s expectations, which is on a daily basis, it is a matter as part of our maturing to rededicate ourselves over and over to the program and plans of God. We are invited to be is called his co-laborers. He sees us as his adopted children. As such, let us reflect consistently our Father in heaven to all the world.
