Hope
is not pretending
that troubles don’t exist
it is the trust
that they will not last forever
that hurts will be healed
that the sharp edge of pain will dull
that difficulties will be overcome
by the believer’s faith in the Almighty God
who is the source of strength
that renews our lives within
that leads through the darkness
to the sunshine
that the path is overseen by God’s love
