Because of the Americans’ belief in freedom of religion, we cannot criticize them as a group of people who choose to think of God in a way different than Christianity. However, in many cases the strict adherence that radical groups demand of the populace to follow the Koran has led to the martyrdom of Christians. Even people of their own nationality who do not conform to the expected Koran laws have been severely punished. Women are expected to have a strict adherence to their dress code some of which hide their hair while others have their bodies completely covered except for their eyes. As Americans we must respect this freedom of religion for all people. As Christians we must take a stand that Jesus is the only way to salvation. Whichever worship group that relies on good works or adherence to rules is contrary to the teachings of Jesus. The understanding that we hold about faith is herein contrasted to those people who follow the teachings of Mohammed.
