The first five books of the Bible are called the Pentateuch written by Moses. Today were focusing on the book of Exodus which records the happening of the Hebrew children leaving Egypt. When they got to Mount Sinai, God gave to Moses the law which included rituals, regulations, and worship stipulations. Among all of this writing God established a priesthood who would oversee and implement the various sacrifices and feasts for the people. The chief priest was Aaron, the brother of Moses, who was the spokesperson to Pharaoh because Moses stuttered. We’re going to examine the garments that Aaron was to wear in his new position. See attached a picture of what it might have looked like in those days and additional explanation.
