You Can Be Miserable, If You Wish


Here are suggestions if you would like to be perfectly miserable!

  1. Think only about yourself.
  2. Talk only about yourself.
  3. Use “I” as often as possible.
  4. Mirror yourself continually in the opinion of others.
  5. Listen greedily to what people say about you.
  6. Expect to be appreciated and greatly disappointed if you are not.
  7. Be suspicious.
  8. Be sensitive to when people slight you.
  9. Never forget criticism and think over and over about what was said.
  10. Trust no one but yourself even though you are a needy person.
  11. Demand for people to respect you, especially if you do not deserve it.
  12. Expect others to agree with your views on everything-manipulate them so they do agree.
  13. If people are not grateful to you for any favors you do for them become resentful.
  14. Never forget services you may have rendered to others-remind them much later after the fact.
  15. Be on the lookout for a good time for yourself regardless if it is not a good time for others.
  16. Be jealous by jumping to conclusions even if there is no reason to be so.
  17. Shirk your duties if you can because you believe that is your right.
  18. Do as little as possible for other people while you expect them to do much for you.
  19. Love yourself supremely as someone better than others.
  20. Be selfish.

NOTE: these behaviors will guarantee you to be miserable and be a problem for others. Do the opposite of these twenty suggestions and you will likely enjoy blessings. Incorporate the reverse of these behaviors to learn how to have a happy life. Pray to God for his help to overcome any of these personality flaws.
