Let us set aside all the backbiting, the second guessing or the rationalizing, and the political intrigue. Let us not try to find ulterior motives or any intrigue. Let us not philosophize or prophesy. We can, however, follow the facts as they lead us for the increased hatred and racism that has newly developed. We need not discuss incompetency and the dishonest increase of filthy lucre in the hands of those who once had no money and now are millionaires.
All I am asking of you is to follow the breadcrumbs and see the question at the end of the trail. We can turn the clock backwards and look at the “good old days.” There is in the memory of people like me who knew a better, more peaceful, and happier time – a better life. I grew up in a poor home. We ate cheap food and did the best we could.
About the time I was born there was a new creation called the television. From that time of “Leave It to Beaver” evolving to this day we can discover footprints in historical sand. I was an adult when there were no computers or cell phones.
There was a time when the minister was listed as one of the most admired and appreciated persons in the community. Not only is he not on the top of the list; he is not on the list at all. He has been replaced by vulgar and immoral people.
Of course, in those days no one anywhere locked their cars or the doors to their homes for fear of being robbed or maybe experience worse.
In most cases, mother and fathers were truly honored, unless they actually did commit a real crime.
In junior high school woodshop the teacher could administer the paddle to the matter for misbehavior.
The reputation of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts was untarnished. It taught the necessity of honor to God and country.
Children looked up to athletes as role models of fair play and devotion to the rules while respecting America’s flag and national anthem. Adults told young people to follow the example of those people.
In school, I heard the teacher read the Bible to us after which we stood to cite the Pledge of Allegiance of the flag. No one objected or opt out.
Life was sacred and the taking of a life no matter the age of the person was a travesty.
I can remember sitting in Mrs. Hite’s classroom when a great commotion arose across the hall. It seems that a student shoved the teacher. I can still feel the emotions and bewilderment of how such a thing could happen.
A bad kid wore his collar up and smoked cigarettes.
Work ethic was a reality. If a person accepted a position from an employer, he would provide an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay. Besides salary a worker sought the best benefits such as health insurance from their employer, not the government.
Debt and dollar were not synonymous. People were dubious to inflict upon themselves too great of funds owed to other people or companies.
All three of my brothers served in the military. They were honored and respected by everyone as safeguards to our national security. The youngest of my brothers was eleven years older than me. I felt such pride to put on my other brother’s naval jacket and cap.
News media was exactly that. When they gave the news, it was information. When they gave commentaries, a disclaimer was provided that this was the opinion of the newscaster.
In my young world we were blind to the pigmentation within other people’s skin. They were just people.
With one swooping hand across my computer screen, I can say none of those things are true today. Respect, trust, honor, ethics, and public good have disappeared. My world is now but a memory and has been replaced by havoc.
The Loch Ness monster of big tech and government dominance hang their heavy feet over our necks.
Even the value of the dollar is in question. The health of savings accounts and retirement programs are threatened. There is strong evidence that our dollar bill will soon be replaced by cyber credits or bitcoins. In other words, our wallets would be empty of paper. Electronically we would pay for our purchase. There would be no such thing as a dollar bill.
I am fearful for the next generation and the generation after that. With this much deterioration in the world, how bad will the condition of their living be in the next fifty years?
In the beginning of this article, I said there would be no mention of prophecy. I must renege on that promise and conclude my article with the supposition and the challenge to each and every one of you.
Follow my thinking. The world has not gone to hell in a basket! It has gone to hell in a teacup. Since all of these things in the deterioration of society has occurred in my lifetime, what is next and how bad will it get? How much worse can it get? A lot worse!
Not too long ago I was told I could not get a haircut if I did not wear a mask. The control over citizens has led to us becoming mindless sheep and it is frightening. If they can manipulate our personal world so much now, what more can they do?
Allow me to offer you an example that could be the answer.
What if the government said that you had to have a chip embedded in your wrist or that the iris of your eye had to be used by a machine for identification purposes? And what if the government said you cannot buy or sell if you did not fall under this kind of control just like when you were dictated to wear a mask.
With the stress from higher powers of government and big tech, would you comply to have that chip in your wrist? You do not even know what are the complete contents of the vaccination you took recently!
Now it is time to mention the Bible verse. Revelation 13:16, 17 says, “and he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads; and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
I hope you will not have to deal with that situation of a chip in your wrist or registering the iris of your eye. BUT what if you are still around then? Perhaps you fell under the control of the mask. Perhaps that is the forerunner of this Bible verse. Will you allow yourself to take the mark or the name of the beast to yourself?
Here’s the Bible verse that says the consequence if you take that mark. “If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and the presence of the Lamb; and the smoke of their torment ascends up forever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image and whosoever received the mark of his name.” (Revelation 14:9-11)
The strength of family and true corporate worship is diminishing so rapidly that it will soon be a matter of the past like that of the Boy Scouts in their original purpose of teaching boys camping skills and to honor God and country.
What will your world be like when things get a lot worse? What will you do if told that you must take the mark of the beast to buy or sell?? It would be a simple dictate of government.
What once was in my lifetime is now gone. All I can say is, “Beware! It will get a lot worse.”
