Two Worldviews

Most people are paying attention to the terrible things that have been happening everywhere as their worldview. Many of them are angry. Many more frustrated. In America there is little hope for release from the hellish grip by the communist Democratic Party. If Biden were to resign, Harris would take his place. If for some reason she would leave office, Pelosi would take her place. In other words, the cards are stacked against freedom loving citizens. Only a few planes at a time have been sent to Afghanistan to rescue people. Why is there not a flock of planes covering the base? On the other hand, how many of those Afghan people are terrorist in disguise getting a free pass to our sacred shores? Government has dominated the population so that everything from going to the grocery store to going to school has been dictated by conflicting statistics. Our borders no longer exist to protect us. Gas prices have more than doubled.

Shall I go on? You have just read the first worldview that is on the minds of 9.9% of the people you know.

But there is a second worldview! It is a bigger and spiritual view.

God is in charge, whether you realize it or not. There is every probability that everything terrible that has been happening are the footsteps leading to the return of Christ to fetch his own from this planet. The circumstances under which we are living are not coincidentally evil steps. They are part of God’s program and part of his warning. It has always been his desire and love for all mankind to come to him into a close relationship, but most of mankind prefers their own way route to pleasure and self-aggrandizement. Jesus warned us that as the days of Noah so shall it be before his return to earth. Be not disheartened. What you see that is happening on the world stage is Satan’s full sway over the affairs of humanity. Recognize that these things must happen so that what we call the end of the world will occur. The world that we know now should and must end because of the chaos that has afflicted us. Take heart. Focus on God so that what has been occurring will not dominate your thinking. These things happening around us are man-made and man’s fault. Logically speaking, it makes no sense to look at the progression of evil when we know evil has a termination date. Instead, look at he who will terminate evil. Look at he who will sustain us through these troubled times.

The apostle Paul said it best when he said, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”  Philippians 4:8
