The Nativity Star Was Real

Last year Jupiter and Saturn were aligned during December for the first time in 800 years. It appeared as one bright planet. God easily makes things happens when He wishes! The Bible account tells that the Magi travelled hundreds and hundreds of miles following the star to come and worship the toddler Jesus. It took them two years to walk to Bethlehem and kneel before Jesus who by that time was living with His family in a house. They brought gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Likely, Joseph, Jesus’ step-father, used the money to support the family when he took them at the angel’s instructions to Egypt and lived there to protect Jesus from the murderous threats from King Herod. This was just one of the many ancient prophecies about Jesus. He is the Son of God that came for the single purpose to die on the cross and three days later be resurrected for us to have a means for our sins to be forgiven if we ask and not have a concern about death because it was conquered and believers will live again! The skies declare God’s glory at Christmas time.
