People shall be:
Lovers of their own selves
Covetous
Boastful
Proud
Blasphemers-abusive
Disobedient to parents
Unthankful
Unholy
Without natural affection
Truce breakers
False accusers
Lack of self-control
Fierce
Despisers of those that are good
Traitors
Rash
Conceited
Lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God
Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof
Ever learning, never able to come to the knowledge of the truth
Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived
Two thousand years ago these words were spoken and now they have come true in our lifetime. Let us recognize their folly. We must continue in what we have learned, being assured and knowing that it has come from God. These words above are not just signs of the times. There are signs of perilous times that have come upon us. They are themselves a prophecy of the coming end times. Let us recognize men of corrupt minds who are reprobate concerning the faith. Let us not allow them to proceed any further. Understand that because these words are prophecies come true there is also another prophecy that says those who are godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. Stand your ground in Christ. Be strengthened by the Holy Spirit. Keep focused on the truth. In doing so, let us be spiritually mature, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
