We all feel like there are times that we are overwhelmed, even depressed or sad. Sometimes we tell ourselves that there is no direction to go. We look at the storm clouds in our life and may conclude that we are under them and subject to them. We might see no direction to go for hope. It could be that we wonder where God is for deliverance and guidance. But take heart. The Bible has an answer for us. Yes, it’s right there in the Word of God.
Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.”
Remember that the stars are always there even if we cannot see them because of the clouds. We may not see his handy work in our lives, but the heavens declare his glory. It as if there was a giant neon sign in the sky in which God is saying, “You cannot do this! I am the God that is all powerful.”
When you see the storm clouds in your life, look up because the stars are always there beyond the clouds. God’s workings are for our behalf out of his love. It really does not matter if we see the stars anymore. What matters is that in faith at a given moment we believe in his handiwork. He is there. Beyond the great storm clouds of life, one day you will experience God’s handiwork and with the stars in the heavens also declare God’s glory.
