The Rapture, Little Green Men, Common Sense – James 3:8

Just think how much money the government and private industry is spending to reach  the farthest of outer space hoping to contact aliens. Some people spend their day trying to listen for a strange beep or a sound that they might declare is from some distant planet.

Allow me to suggest that the concept of UFOs will be very useful in the beginning of the tribulation. Many people will be missing from the face of the earth. Leaders, particularly the antichrist, will offer an explanation. This current proliferation about aliens from outer space will be a great way to explain the disappearance of these people. The biggest issue for the lack of people will be to rationalize it away.

The general public has become desensitized to the idea of UFOs. Perhaps, this will be one of the first impetus for the antichrist to step into the world stage by explaining away the disappearance of people. They were not raptured. They were kidnapped by aliens! Currently there are people who claim to have seen UFOs and some who claim that they have been kidnapped by little green men. It will seem perfectly logical to those left behind from the rapture that a large portion of the world’s population has been taken away by aliens, not by Christ.

Why is all this a crazy idea? First, a disclaimer: I am not talking about the benefits we have gained from astronauts and their skills. We have tools and other items now in common  use that were once for the needs of these brave individuals.

As previously said, so much money is spent for what? Could that money not be better spent for earthlings? Humans already have a litany of causes that would greatly benefit from a new source of income.

The craziest part of all this is the hope to actually make contact. I don’t believe there are other humanoids elsewhere out there. Some people say that it is highly egotistical to say we are the only humans in all of space. It is not egotistical at all. Mankind is called in the Bible the apple of God’s eye. It is God’s purpose to have a relationship with humans even though they sinned and needed Jesus to redeem them on the cross.

For the sake of argument, what if there would be creatures that might pick up on our signals? What if they are an advanced society? What if they could find a way to come to earth?

There are so many scientific ideas about UFOs. They tell us that the nearest habitable planet is many, many, many miles away. We are talking several light years away, which is how far and how fast that light ray can travel. For little green men to come to earth the flying saucer would have to be capable of speeds multiple times that of how fast light can travel. The question I have is why have these flying saucers not landed on earth? Why would they just buzz around in the sky doing nothing else?

It, at best, is a  50/50 chance they would be friendly. Is it not crazy to reach out to some creatures, tell them where we are on earth, and they come to kills us. It could be a real-life Independence Day happening!

What a prime example of a Bible scripture in Genesis 11:6. This verse is God’s response to the people that built the Tower of Babel in an effort to reach into the heavens. What is the difference? Man will imagine it and try to do it, not considering if it is a good idea.

This is another example of science gone wild!!!
