What has happened? America is without a leader! We cannot be assured that our old enemies can be kept at bay. Horror stories of mass murder are of little interest to those in governmental authority. Any hope of regaining our stability is doubtful. No one can be trusted. No one seems to care.
There must be something behind the medical assault on our citizens. What is it that has turned away our perspectives? There was once a time in which patriotism and loyalty to democracy was a natural attitude. Our people have been so manipulated that we have become a nation of sheep. Race and culture are reasons for rage. Healing of relationships with the person on the other side of the fence is unlikely.
This is not just happening in America. It is happening around the world. The doors have been swung open for demons to dance on our graves. Circumstances are baffling. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the upsetting of daily life. Edicts, advisories, and executive orders have replaced the due process of law.
Something must be driving this madness! The Bible tells us what that something is.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12
Now that we know what is behind all this perversion, what shall we do?
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who chose to be a soldier. 2 Timothy 2:4
We are surrounded on every hand by the evil of this world. We cannot and must not have our eyes on that evil. It is one thing to say we have faith, but we must trust the Lord. If we trust, we will not be anxious for the winds swirling about us.
With stubborn righteousness we stand answerable only to God. Let the world reveal its evil for it was always there but not seen this much as now. Know that as the time draws near for Christ to return for us the forces of Satan will become more agitated against believers.
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 1 Peter 4:12
Expect the evil of this world to become more influential and dominant. Keep your eyes on Christ knowing that he shall redeem us from this evil.
