“Yeh, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no: for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4
The above verse is often read at funerals. However, the shadow of death is what hangs over and threatens all of us while we live. Its shadow has been cast upon us since the earliest of times.
The service to God results in the blessing that we need not fear. In this time of the pandemic let the word of the Lord encourage you. Yes, others are getting ill and some are dying.
But some are not getting ill and most are not dying. Because comfort is available in whatever situation we find ourselves let us as a nation call to him. God knows our situation throughout our country. He will have mercy on us as we cry out.
Remember, he is the God of love and his grace is sufficient for us.
