“The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof: the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or Who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face” Psalm 24:1-6
Do not be mistaken! God is not standing by watching us while we deal with this virus. He is not a God that is aloft. He is not looking at us for entertainment as one would watch television. He is not curious what we will do next.
God is fully invested in our well-being. He cares. He is with us in the here and now.
We must remember that this is his earth not ours. He created it and molded it to become the beauty that it is. We are pilgrims passing along and over this clump of clay.
God is in charge! He is the King of the universe. Yet he is the lover of our souls. He so much wants to give us blessings. Most of all he seeks to give us salvation and righteousness.
Let us in this generation be the generation that turns the world to him. Let us be the generation of faith and hope whatever be the challenge. Let us seek him fervently and know that we are seeking the good pleasure of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Let us be the people that has washed their hands and given their heart to him for purity sake. Let us turn away from whatever or however there could have been an interference between God and ourselves as his children.
It is not hard to wash our hands and be rid of all that is bad. It is an easy thing to seek and find him at a time we need him most. Blessings are ours. He is the God of salvation. It is a God of love. God is the true King whose word is final. Let us turn to him and trust in purity. He knows our need and will supply our need. He is fully invested in our lives and what hurts us. He owns the earth and we can no less in his righteousness do otherwise than believe he cares. God will rescue u
