Does the devil reign over Hell?

Do not think me superstitious when I say that I find it very curious that as I began to write this article, suddenly the original copy disappeared from my computer, and I was not able to retrieve it. Think what you like, but I believe he did not want me to tell you what I have to say!

Most people think that the devil wears a red suit displaying horns and a tail. They think he is the ruler over hell with his demons. This is definitely not what the Bible says about him!

Once he was the highest angel in heaven who at one time thought himself equal or above God. He led a rebellion and took one third of the angels with him. The fallen Angels are now reserved in a place called Tartarus until the judgment day. God banned the devil from his position and cast him to the earth where the Bible now says he is the ruler over the air going back and forth seeking whom he may devour.

He appears as an angel of light, and certainly not in a red suit with horns. It is his intention to make things relative to his temptations in the best light as possible. No one would fall to his temptations if they knew how terrible, and dastardly they were.

It is his destiny that one day God will bring judgment on him forever casting him into the lake of fire with his demons.

He is not a matter of jokes. His work is deadly serious, not just for now, and the repercussions but for all eternity. He is extremely powerful. In the book of Daniel, the prophet prayed to God, but his answer was delayed because an angel was resisted by the prince of the kingdom of Persia. Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help him.

Jude 1: 9 says, “Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” This shows how powerful the devil is. By no means could a human being withstand his authority. Only Jesus has the power over him. For this we praise God!

Satan’s time is limited. God will condemn him to the place he deserves for all eternity. Unfortunately, those who have been deceived by him, will share his fate. However, those who accept Christ as Savior will spend all eternity in a joyous state. Which is your choice?
